For outerwear, compare chest, shoulders and sleeve length while allowing for layers. For a set, check the top and bottom measurements separately; one size selection may apply to both pieces.

Use front, back and close-up images to inspect fasteners, pockets, cuffs and lining where visible. For sets, check each included piece rather than judging the whole order from a single outfit photo.

Pullover and zip-up hoodies are collected here for comparing shape, graphics and finishing. The same size label can describe a cropped, regular or oversized cut, making measurements more useful than the label alone.

Check chest width, body length, shoulder width and sleeve length. Compare with your own hoodie and consider whether you want space for another layer. Read the seller’s fabric and lining description.

Inspect the hood, drawstrings if present, cuffs, hem, pocket seams and printed or embroidered areas. On zip-up styles, look at the zipper alignment and both sides of the front.

Pants & shorts
Trousers, shorts and underwear are included in this category. Choose the garment type first, because everyday trousers, loose shorts and close-fitting underwear need different measurements and should not be compared by size labels alone.

Check waist measurements and whether the waistband stretches. For trousers and shorts, compare rise, hips, thigh width and inseam or overall length. For underwear, follow the specific listing’s measurement guidance.

Look at waistband stitching, hems, pocket placement and fabric panels where visible. When a measurement photo is available, check where the tape starts and ends instead of relying only on the written number.

Belts are best compared by usable fit, width and buckle construction rather than the advertised length alone. This category includes different buckle shapes and patterned straps, which may use different length conventions.

Measure a belt you wear from the buckle reference point to the hole you use, then compare with the seller’s diagram. Check strap width against your trouser loops and whether adjustment is actually supported.
